Some studies have made clear the field application effect of the pheromone of Grapholitha molesta in peach orchards in Northern Zhejiang Province, and comprehensively evaluated the control effect of the pheromone by investigating the rate of allelopathy, the control effect of shoot borer, the rate of fruit borer, and the fruit quality. The results showed that: the sex pheromone allelopathic filament of Grapholitha molesta had a good control effect on new shoots and fruits of peach trees damaged by Grapholitha molesta, and it could produce allelopathic effect on male adults of all generations in the duration.
